Matcha for Mental Zen and Physical Well-Being

Matcha green tea leaves are carefully and intentionally grown, and the last three weeks before harvest, they are shaded. This creates a higher quality leaf with a higher concentration of nutrients and a more balanced flavor profile. Matcha is also more healthful than other teas because the entire leaf is used in its production. With steeped teas, water can only extract a portion of the antioxidants, but matcha powder is made from grinding whole leaves. It is therefore packed with antioxidants and caffeine, giving you a natural energy boost. 

Some studies indicate that additional benefits of drinking matcha include cardiovascular strength, reduced cancer risk, increased bone health, and increased immunity. Matcha may even possess anti-aging properties. Matcha is known to be full of L Theanine, the amino acid that increases alpha waves to promote a relaxed state of calm focus.

To Make

  1. Add matcha, lemon juice, CBD oil, and still water to a mason jar or cup.
  2. Whisk ingredients until incorporated.
  3. Add sparkling water to the mixture.
  4. Pour over ice and enjoy!
