Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte Recipe
This is the sweetest, most beautiful summer iced tea and perfect for all of the June strawberries coming to your local farmers market right now!
Sometimes I forget how delicious our Amai ("Amai" means sweet in Japan) Matcha is with all of the Ceremonial Matcha recipe development I do, but it is perfect in this recipe and here in Nashville, we are finding the sweet and tangy strawberries to be a perfect addition to our umami-rich Matcha.
Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte: Start by whisking 1 Tablespoon of Amai Matcha in 2 ounces of hot water until dissolved. Next, muddle 8-10 fresh strawberries until you have 3 Tablespoons of strawberry puree.
Place your fresh strawberry puree in a glass and fill to the top with ice. Then, pour 6 ounces of your choice of milk (we like almond milk here the best!) over the ice and top with the dissolved Amai Matcha. Serve and enjoy!
