We confess. As Matcha-fanatics, we tend to walk on the healthier side of life. We do our best to stay stress-free, to remain centered and grounded, to fuel our bodies with organic high-quality foods, and to regularly make conscious decisions to take care of ourselves. But sometimes...some days...the only way to soothe body, mind, and spirit...is with chocolate chip cookies.
So, in a moment of weakness...or absolute brilliance depending on your perspective...we decided to combine our two favorite flavors...and the results are heavenly. The white chocolate does something for your soul that only chocolate can do...and the matcha balances the scales - or at least tames the guilt.
We chose white chocolate for its smooth, buttery taste and creamy texture. Matcha offers that savory umami flavor that it’s famous for. The partnership of matcha and white chocolate together, with a hint of the earthy sweetness of cardamom to tie it all together, is an enticing blend that you’ll love. We think you’ll agree that taking our best-selling drink and turning it into a cookie was an absolute stroke of genius.
So without further ado...we proudly present to you our recipe for the ultimate comfort food.
