TEA RITUAL: CONNECT WITH MOTHER EARTH

Written by Sarah Scarborough | Apr 21, 2019 5:18:00 PM

Join us each Sunday in April for rituals focused on spring cleaning your body, mind and spirit! All month we will dive into practices that will help you burst into summer with a clean body, a free mind and a light spirit! Share your thoughts and experiences at #mytearitual.

“I don’t know what it is about the direct contact with wilderness that nourishes me. Maybe it’s what others feel in church or making art. I feel so drawn to its purity and unfathomable intelligence, its seemingly individual parts all working together as one. Its rhythms and extremes. Shadows and light.Serenity and chaos. Beginnings and endings. I recognize the same things going on inside my own little universe, and know that I am That. Namaste." -from Swell by Captain Liz Clark

Movement: earthing

This week we've consulted with our dear friend, Kindy Girdley of Revel Nashville on the importance of grounding or earthing. Click here to learn from her about this revitalizing practice!

Meditation: Stay Grounded

Remove your socks and shoes and take a walk outside, letting your skin come in direct contact with the earth. Take a moment to feel the ground and feel the earthing connection. While you're outside, do some stretching and breathwork to fully connect with the earth. Try to incorporate the practice of earthing into your morning routine to keep your body in a neutral or grounded state.
