As our biggest fans, and resident experts, who better to turn to than our staff. Who better to ask about their preferred choices and go-to teas for different times, moods and tastes than the team that spends all day, every day, with the leaves that we love. This week we asked Laura, our Nashville Tea Bar Manager about her list of favorites from the Firepot lineup.
Laura's Go-To Teas:
My relaxing go-to tea has always been Indian Rose Garden. The botanicals are so soothing and comforting when I need to take a breath and slow down to be in the moment. During the colder months, I also turn to our Immunity Tonic (made with Hibiscus Elixir) to keep my immune system strong and allergy symptoms in check. My number one favorite thing to add to tea for health benefits is ginger - such a powerful anti-inflammatory!
Because of my love for ginger, our Maple Ginger Matcha Latte has been my go-to pick-me-up. When it’s chilly outside, I love to have it hot with steamed coconut milk.
At the Tea Bar, I often like to pick an oolong and resteep it several times throughout the day. Iron Goddess of Mercy is a great tea for multiple steeps. This oolong gives me sustained energy without any jitters, and also boosts my metabolism and curbs cravings.
My personal preference in my version of the Maple Ginger Matcha Latte is to use coconut milk, but you can substitute your favorite milk if coconut milk isn’t your thing. Enjoy!
