Color conveys feelings, emotions, and even tastes. This summer, the color that we are obsessing over is the bright, joyful color of our turmeric latte mix, Golden Soul! We are all drinking daily the effervescent and luminescent sparklers we make with it!

For us, yellow is the essence of summertime - the carefree joyfulness that comes from the long days and bright sun surrounding us, the birds singing, the bees buzzing, and the yellow tomatoes, berries, and peppers hanging heavy on the vine. What does yellow taste like to you?

Jump straight to the recipe!

In Ayurvedic medicine, yellow is the color associated with Manipura chakra, the space just above our belly buttons where self-love, personal power, and self-esteem live. It is said that eating yellow foods and using yellow oils like citrus and turmeric can help to tap into the energy of this chakra, making you feel strong, confident, and powerful.

According to reiki master, Susy Schieffelin,The color yellow represents the ability to tap into the light of a thousand suns that exists within you.”

The most luminous of all the colors in the spectrum, yellow attracts attention even from birds and insects seeking nectar. We are instinctively drawn to yellow and instinctively respond to its allure. Yellow invites us to enjoy how it expresses itself visually, energetically, emotionally, and physically.

If you follow the color code personality science, you know that the “yellow” people amongst us are fun-loving, enthusiastic, optimistic, charismatic, and spontaneous.

Beyond the Ayurvedic tradition of India, yellow is associated with the sacred in cultures across the globe. In Japan, yellow is courage and nobility. Buddhist monks wear saffron yellow robes. In the Middle East, yellow stands for prosperity. To Native Americans, yellow represents unconditional love.

Firepot’s Turmeric Lemon Sparkler, made with Golden Soul, is full of the potent healing vibrancy of yellow-- and it is absolutely delicious!
