Eighteen years ago, we started blending and grinding our unique masala (spice blend) recipe into a sweet, potent and aromatic mixture that has fueled the growth of Firepot ever since!
Our original product line was a series of three types of tea blended with this proprietary recipe:
- Original Masala Chai: Firepot Masala blended with black tea
- Rooibos Chai: Firepot Masala blended with rooibos, the caffeine-free evergreen shrub from South Africa that is said to “preserve the youth and gladden the heart!”
- Chocolate Chai: Firepot Masala blended with cacao nibs from our friends at Dagoba Chocolate (back when they were a small company run out of Telluride, Colorado!)
Chai lovers and cafes from Sweden to Alaska would buy our blend online and rave --many saying that it reminded them of the what they had when they were traveling in India. Almost overnight, we had addicts, regulars and a community of people bonding over travels, a love of chai, yoga and sustainability!

ECONOMICAL & VERSATILE
This is also our most versatile and economical chai. A little goes a long way and you can choose any sweetener you like or leave it sugar free- it is entirely up to you!
